Dr. Dao Viet Hang graduated from the Hanoi Medical University in 2011 and got her PhD degree in 2016. She is now the Vice General Secretariat of Vietnam Association of Gastroenterology (VNAGE) and Vietnam Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (VASLD), Director of Endoscopic Centre, Hanoi Medical University Hospital. Her main research interest is on AI applications in endoscopy, smart apps in GI and hepatology field, liver cancer, functional GI tract diseases. She had more than 100 domestic and international publications, and she is the PI/co-PI of many national studies and international collaborative studies related to GI tract diseases, AI in endoscopy and gut microbiota. She believes application AI in endoscopy is a promising and feasible research direction, which can assist doctors to reduce missing lesions. She had experience in attending many projects in AI projects, where she led her team to recruit, label data, validate the product, and implement clinical studies.
