Yousuke Nakai is a professor and chief of Department of Internal Medicine, Institute of Gastroenterology, Tokyo Women’s Medical University. He graduated from Faculty of Medicine, The University of Tokyo and was conferred M.D. in 1998, and subsequently completed the doctoral program of Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo and was admitted to the degree of Ph.D. in 2007. He had a fellowship at University of California, Irvine from 2010 to 2012 with Prof. Kenneth J Chang. He is a fellow of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, a board certified gastroenterologist and trainer of the Japanese Society of Gastroenterology, a board certified fellow and trainer of the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society, a board certified hepatologist of the Japan Society of Hepatology, and a general clinical oncologist by Japanese Board of Cancer Therapy. His areas of interest and expertise include diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP and EUS for pancreatobiliary diseases and oncology for pancreatobiliary cancers.
