Professor Minhu Chen is the chief expert and subject leader of the Department of Gastroenterology at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases, especially for the inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease). He has presided several scientific research projects, including key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published more than 500 research articles on journals such as JAMA and Gastroenterology. He has won many scientific research achievement awards and was the 11th President-Elect of the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology.
