Dr Charles Vu graduated from Monash University (MBBS 1990), Australia and completed Gastroenterology training (FRACP 1997) at Monash Medical Centre. He underwent subspecialty training in endoscopic ultrasound at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London, UK (2003-2004). He joined Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore in 1998 and has been a Senior Consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology since 2005. He served as the Head of Department from 2008 to 2013. He held adjunct teaching appointments in the Yong Loo Lin (National University of Singapore) and Lee Kong Chian (Nanyang Technological University) Schools of Medicine. His subspecialty and research interests include pancreato-biliary diseases and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy.
