Dr. Chee Chien Yong was graduated from Kaohsiung Medical University with medical degree on 1999, and start surgical training in Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital since August 1999. He had been promoted as attending staff on 2003. He is the Associate Professor of the Department of General Surgery and Liver Transplantation Center at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He is specialist in intensive care, hepato-pancreatico-biliary surgery and liver transplantation. He is the supervisor of liver intensive care unit at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital since January, 2009 to July, 2021. He focus on treatment of liver failure and post liver transplantation care. And he performed first laparoscopic liver resection on October 2010 and first robotic assistant liver resection in Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital on March 2015. So far he personal accumulated more than 750 cases of minimal invasive liver resection. He is active in living donor liver transplantation,minimal invasive HPB surgery and surgical treatment of peri-hilar cholangiocarcinoma.
