Dr Raymond Liang is a Consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the current Programme Director of the National Healthcare Group Gastroenterology Residency Programme.
He completed specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2018 and the European Specialty Examination in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2023. He was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan Award from the Ministry of Health, Singapore in 2024 for sub-specialty training in inflammatory bowel disease and image-enhanced endoscopy in colitis-associated dysplasia with Professors Marietta Iacucci and Subrata Ghosh at University College Cork (Cork University Hospital and Mercy University Hospital) in Ireland.
Dr Liang is active in clinical research and has co-authored publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He was previous Clinical Module Lead (Gastrointestinal System) and is currently an Adjunct Lecturer with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University.
