A/Prof Damien Tan is a pancreatobiliary advanced endoscopist. He completed his advanced training in EUS in Hospital Erasmus, Brussels, Belgium and ERCP in Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis, USA. He has completed his Master’s in clinical Investigation and was awarded the NMRC Transition Award. He has completed the Singapore Stanford Biodesign Course and was awarded the Singapore Biodesign Faculty Fellowship. He is currently Director of Endoscopy Centre and Director of Innovation SGH. He is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, SGH and Clinical Associate Professor at Duke NUS medical school. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of pancreato-biliary disorders and therapeutic endoscopy such as ERCP and EUS. His main area of research and innovation is the area of early detection of pancreatic cancer, pancreatic cysts, pancreatic diseases and pancreatobiliary endoscopy.
