Terry Yip is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics and Co-Director (Data Science) of Medical Data Analytics Centre at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on chronic hepatitis B and MASLD. He is devoted to real-world big clinical data research to understand the epidemiology, natural history, assessment, treatment, and clinical outcome prediction of chronic hepatitis B and MASLD. He has over 210 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
He received the Young Investigator Award at The Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) meetings in 2018, 2022, and 2023, The Best Poster Presentation Award: Viral Hepatitis – Clinical at European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) Congress 2024, and the Early Career Investigator Award in Clinical/Translational Science at American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) meeting 2020.
