Dr. Elizabeth Cheong is a Consultant in the Department of Cardiothoracic and Abdominal Radiology, Singapore General Hospital. Her subspecialty interests are in hepatobiliary imaging, gastrointestinal imaging and ultrasound. She completed a 6-month intestinal ultrasound fellowship in Royal Melbourne Hospital in May 2023, and is certified by the International Bowel Ultrasound Group as an IUS practitioner and trainer. She is tremendously grateful to her radiology team members, sonographers and the SGH gastroenterology IBD team for their collaboration and support in setting up the first IUS service in Singapore. She is honoured to be able to participate in the Genius IUS workshop, and excited to see how IUS continues to grow locally.
