An anaesthetist, mother of 3 and pragmatic environmentalist, Joanne has been working on healthcare sustainability spearheading initiatives within the operating theatre and hospital. She is the clinical sustainability lead at Changi General Hospital and part of Singhealth’s Committee on Sustainability. She has published and received research grants in sustainability. As part of advocacy, she has spoken internationally & locally at various platforms such as international and local healthcare conferences, symposiums and CME on sustainability.
