Dr Jonathan Kuang is currently a consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. He received the Health Manpower Development Plan award from the Ministry of Health in 2023 and successfully completed a one-year fellowship in Neurogastroenterology and Motility at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston USA, under the mentorship of Dr Braden Kuo. He is currently the lead for the Neurogastroenterology Division and GI motility lab at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. His areas of research interest include Gastroparesis and Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and he was recently awarded the Rome Foundation Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction International Research Award.
