Dr. Ken Ohata is a leading expert in endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), with over 20 years of experience in diagnosing and treating early-stage gastrointestinal cancers. As Director of the Endoscopy Center at NTT Medical Center Tokyo, he oversees Japan’s highest-volume colorectal ESD facility. A graduate of Nihon University School of Medicine, he has played a key role in advancing ESD techniques and training programs both in Japan and internationally.
He serves as a Visiting Professor at several institutions in China, while actively engaging in ESD education and training across Asia, Europe, Russia, and other regions worldwide.
