Dr . Sonam Mathur is a Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist from AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad, INDIA. She has completed her MBBS from GMC, Aurangabad , MD Medicine from JNMC, Wardha and DM Gastroenterology from SRMC, Chennai.
Apart from her academic and clinical expertise in Advanced Endoscopy , she has a keen interest in healthcare management and incorporating diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in gastroenterology. She is Member of the Emerging Leaders and Women in GI Committee of APAGE .Also Women Committee Member of ASGE.
She is recipient of various fellowship awards including GOLD (GI Organizational Leadership and Development) and LEAD (Leadership Education and Development Program ) of ASGE ,ESGE Module 1 and 2 of European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy ,WISE (World Endoscopy Organisation International School of EUS) of WEO (World Endoscopy Organization),Emerging Leaders Mentorship Program (ELMP) of WGO (World Gastroenterology Organisation)and International Mentee training program by Scrubs and Heels.
