Dr Vinay Dhir MD,DNB,FASGE,FJGES, FSGEI, is currently the Chairman of the Institute of Digestive and Liver Care (IDL Care), SL Raheja Hospital, Mumbai. He is the Chairman of the India EUS Club, and Past President of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society of India. Dr Dhir has more than 120 publications and book chapters to his credit. He has devised an all in one training model for interventional EUS, and the popular railroad technique for linear pancreatico-biliary EUS. Dr Dhir is the founder of the School of EUS where He has trained more than 150 students worldwide in EUS techniques over the past 20 years. His active research interests are pancreatico-biliary disorders and interventional EUS.
