Adjunct Associate Professor Kewin Siah is a Senior Consultant and Clinical Director recognized for his pioneering work in neurogastroenterology, motility, and disorders of gut–brain interaction (DGBI). His research interests span Asian DGBI phenotypes, gastrointestinal dysautonomia, small fiber neuropathy, diet–microbiota interactions, traditional and complementary medicine, and the developmental origins of gut–brain health.
He holds major leadership positions, serving as Associate Editor of the Journal of Neurogastroenterology & Motility, Secretary-General of the Asian Neurogastroenterology & Motility Association (ANMA), Secretary-General of the National Foundation of Digestive Diseases (NFDD), and Asian Ambassador for the Rome Foundation ROBOT Project. He is also a member of the International Advisory Council of the Chinese American Gastroenterology Association (CAGA).
Dedicated to education, he founded the Asian Neurogastro Initiative and established the ANMA Foundation Course, a regional training platform for young gastroenterologists. Through his leadership, he continues to advance research, training, and global collaboration in gastroenterology.
