Lilian Yew Siew Mee is the Chief Nurse at Raffles Hospital, bringing over 33 years of leadership experience across public and private healthcare sectors. She holds advanced degrees in Health Sciences from SIM–University of Sydney and a Master’s in Education from NIE Singapore. Under her leadership, Raffles Hospital has achieved multiple prestigious accreditations, including ANCC Provider with Distinction, BFHI re accreditation, and the NCPD Premier Award.
A pioneer in nursing innovation, Lilian developed the RAFFLES Nursing Professional Practice Model and serves as Chief Editor of Raffles Nursing Times. Her global influence is reflected in her selection as a scholar in the 2025–2026 ICN Global Nursing Leadership Institute and her induction into the Global Woman of Influence Hall of Fame. Her accolades include the Singapore Healthcare Quality Star Award (2025), SkillsFuture Fellowship Award (2024), Global Woman of Influence Award (2024), and recognition as a Top 10 Finalist for the Aster Guardian Global Nursing Award (2023). She also received the HMA Chief Nurse of the Year Award in 2023.
Lilian currently serves as Vice President of the Singapore Nurses Association, Board Member of Sigma Theta Tau’s Upsilon Eta Chapter, and Team Leader for the ANCC Appraiser Team. She continues to champion nursing leadership, policy advocacy, and global collaboration to advance healthcare standards and empower future nurse leaders.
