Jia Min is a paediatric-trained registered nurse and has been working in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital for 13 years. She graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2012 as a Registered Nurse and attained her Bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2016 from Curtin University. She has recently completed her specialist diploma in Endoscopy from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2024.
Jia Min attained certification in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Nursing from Paediatric GI Nursing assessment-based program and has been the subspeciality nurse at the Gastroenterology department at KKH since 2017. Her role includes the 5Cs- Counseling, Coordinating, Collaborating, Caring and Connecting with her patients.
She enjoys taking care of paediatric patients and constantly supporting patients in their journey from diagnosis to transition of care to adult care setting. She advocates for the paediatric patients and believes that positive patient’s experience ensures better compliance to treatments and outcomes.
