Dr. Luan Minh Dang, MD, is a Board-certified gastroenterologist and lecturer at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As Head of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Unit at University Medical Center, Ho Chi Minh City, he leads clinical and research efforts in IBD management. Dr. Dang earned his MD with honors in 2010 and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Gastrointestinal Sciences, focusing on IBD and colorectal cancer screening and surveillance. He played a pivotal role in developing Vietnamese guidelines for ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease and serves as a Core Team Member for the 2025 Asia-Pacific Consensus on Best Practices for Small Molecules and Anti-IL-23p19 Inhibitors. His extensive publications in peer-reviewed journals and awards, including the 2022 Vietnam Association of Gastroenterology Oral Presentation Award and the 2023 Asian Organization for Crohn’s and Colitis Young Investigator Award, underscore his contributions to gastroenterology.
