Head of the Gastroenterology Department at Dr. Sulaiman AlHabib Hospital in Dubai and President of the Elegance Society (Endoscopy Ladies Empowering Growth and Networking across the Middle East), Dr. Bukhari is a consultant gastroenterologist, hepatologist, and advanced interventional endoscopist with expertise in ERCP, EUS, gastrointestinal motility, and hepatology. Trained at Johns Hopkins University and McMaster University, she is a Fellow of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. A recognized international speaker and researcher, she has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and serves on multiple editorial and leadership committees, including ASGE and WIE, with a strong commitment to empowering women in endoscopy across the Middle East
