Honggang Yu, Ph.D, Professor, chief physician, doctoral tutor. Mainly engaged in diagnosing and treating digestive system diseases, and early cancer diagnosis and treatment of digestive endoscopy with artificial intelligence. He is the Chief of the Gastroenterology Department, Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society of Digestive Endoscopy, and the Chairman of Artificial Intelligence Branch of the Chinese Society of Digestive Endoscopy.
He has won a Technological Invention Award of Hubei Province and has successively presided over six general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published over 140 papers in professional journals, including articles in The Lancet Gastroenterol Hepatol, The Lancet Digital Health, GUT, Endoscopy, etc..
