Professor. Lubna Kamani is currently working as a Director of Gastroenterology Residency Program at Liaquat National Hospital, Karachi and consultant Aga Khan University Hospital. Currently, she is a President of Pak GI and Liver Diseases Society.
Prof Kamani is a co-opted member of APAGE executive council. She is member of WGO guideline and IBD committee. Additionally, she is a co-chair of women in Hepatology forum South Asian Association for study of Liver (SAASL),chair women’s committee, MAIDEN, APASL and represents Pakistan at Women in GI network Asia Pacific (WIGNAP).
She promotes and diligently works for advancement of women’s health and equity for which she won “Women disruptor award” at ACG 2023, Vancouver, Canada and “Impactful Leader Award” by Medical Women’s Association Pakistan in 2024. She has scores of publication to her credit and is also involved in various guidelines. She has been invited to numerous national and international conferences as an invited faculty and speaker.
