Former Chair of the Department of Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia. Former chairman of the PB Indonesian Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Association (PEGI), former chairman of the PB Indonesian Gastroenterology Association, former PB staff member of the Indonesian Heart Research Association (PPHI), and former chairman of the PB Indonesian Medical Education Research Association (PERPIPKI). He graduated as a general practitioner from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia in 1981, graduated as a specialist in internal medicine from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia in 1991, graduated consultant Gastroenterology Hepatology from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia in 1999, and graduated from the University of Amsterdam The Netherlands in 2002. Prof. Marcellus Simadibrata K was inaugurated as a Professor of FKUI / University of Indonesia in 2012. He also practices in private hospitals (Abdi Waluyo Hospital and Pluit Hospital) Jakarta Indonesia in providing health services to the community.
