I-Chen Wu, MD, PhD, is a Professor and Associate Dean of the College of Medicine at Kaohsiung Medical University, and an Attending Physician in the Division of Gastroenterology at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. She serves as a Supervisor on the Councils of the Digestive Endoscopy Society of Taiwan and the Taiwan Gastric Cancer Society, and as a Council Member of the Taiwan Neuroendocrine Tumor Society. Her research focuses on transnational and clinical studies of upper gastrointestinal cancers, particularly esophageal and gastric malignancies. Dr. Wu’s work emphasizes novel endoscopic techniques, biomarker discovery, and optimization of immunotherapy outcomes. She actively participates in numerous multicenter clinical trials and collaborates with international research consortia to advance cancer treatment and improve patient care.
