Dr. Lim Wee Chian is a Senior Consultant and heads the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1994 and completed specialist training in Gastroenterology in 2002. He was awarded the HMDP Fellowship Award in 2003 and completed advanced fellowship training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Endoscopic Ultrasonography at the Indiana University Medical Centre. He previously served as the President of the Gastroenterology Society of Singapore, and is a member of the Asian EUS group, APAGE working group on IBD, MOH Medical Technology Advisory Committee and Resident Advisory Committee for Gastroenterology.
