Yunsheng Yang, M.D., professor, Chairman of Microbiota Division and Lab, Academic Director for the Dept.of Gastroenterology, Director of PLA Institute of Digestive Disease , Chinese PLA General Hospital, Beijing China.
He was the Chairman of APDW 2022 in Xian. He serves the chief editor for the journal Microbiota &Diseases, the past president of the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology CSG and the Chairman of CSG microbiota group, and member of WGO Scientific Committee and Endoscopy Committee.
His Clinical interests are GI disorders and therapeutic ERCP. His research priority focus on robot-assistance endoscopy and GI microbiota and IBD. He lead his team to invent a robot-assistance system YunSRobot for GI endoscopy and performed GI endoscopy in human volunteers in 2017 and completed remote EGD in human in 2021.
So far, his more than 200 articles in Chinese journals and over 170 papers in international journals of SCI have been appeared.
