Congress Venue Access
By Car / Taxi
Alight at Suntec’s driveway along Temasek Boulevard, where the Big Picture is located.
For those driving, you may access Suntec’s basement carpark via the following routes:
- Nicoll Highway
- Raffles Boulevard (From Bras Basah Road)
- Temasek Avenue (from Raffles Boulevard
- Rochor Road exit from East Coast Expressway (ECP)
Park at West Wing (Green Zone) and use lift lobbies A or B for quick access to Suntec Singapore (L3, L4 or L6).
By Train
Alight at Esplanade or Promenade^ via the Circle Line, and City Hall* via the East West Line.
Follow these directions to get to Suntec Singapore:
- From CC3 Esplanade MRT Station (3 min):
Take Exit A and follow the signage to our Centre - From CC4 Promenade MRT Station (5 min):
Take Exit C, walk through Suntec City Mall and follow the signage to our Centre - From EW13 City Hall MRT Station (8 min):
Walk through City Link Mall and then Esplanade Exchange to get here
^Promenade is also on the Downtown Line.
*City Hall is on the East West Line and North South Line.

Weather & Timezone
Enjoy summer all year-round with Singapore’s tropical climate (25-33C). Dress in light, airy clothing and bring along an umbrella in case of occasional rainfall. Singapore Standard Time is situated in GMT+8 time zone, so be sure to calibrate your watches accordingly.
Visa & Entry Requirements

ensure a smooth entry to Singapore.
Smoking Area
Smoking is prohibited in buildings, retail food
establishments, transport nodes, public service
vehicles, and sports facilities. Designated smoking
areas are marked with notices or signs. Refer
to NEA for the full list of prohibited smoking areas.
E-vaporisers
The purchase, possession or use of e-vaporisers, including e-vaporiser products, is illegal in Singapore, and offenders will face penalties including composition fines or prosecution. Additionally, visitors caught purchasing, possessing, or using e-vaporisers laced with drugs such as etomidate (“K-pods”) may be refused entry or banned from re-entry to Singapore. Safe Drinking Water
Tap water in Singapore surpasses World Health Organization standards. You can drink water straight from the source or easily purchase them from stores.
Power Plug
The standard electrical current used in Singapore is
220-240 volts AC (50 cycles) and you can use power
plugs with three square prongs here.
Language
You can communicate in English with Singaporeans, who are mostly fluent in it. Many also speak Mandarin Chinese, Malay or Tamil. You may also encounter Singlish, a unique colloquial form of English that blends with various languages and dialects spoken in Singapore.

If you need assistance or have any queries, drop by
any of the Singapore Visitor Centres. You’ll be able to plan your itinerary, get tips on must-see attractions, purchase tickets for sightseeing, book
accommodation and even pick up a souvenir (or
two).
Public Dining Places
It is an offence to leave your trays and litter on the
tables at hawker centres, food courts and coffeeshops. Do return your trays and crockery at the return stations to ensure the next diner has a pleasant experience. Refer to NEA for more details.

Tipping
While tipping is not customary, should you experience good service, you are encouraged to do so.
Tax Refund

All MRTs and public buses are wheelchair accessible and open strollers are allowed. Please approach the train staff or bus captains if you need assistance.

Taxi Fares
Taxis are metered, and surcharges may vary with timing, route and choice of service used. To get a rough idea of the final fare, check with the driver on the surcharges and ask for a receipt at the end of the trip.
Ride Hailing Apps
Ride hailing applications available in Singapore let you book a ride from your preferred pick-up point to your desired destination. Options available include ComfortDelGro, Grab, Gojek, Ryde and TADA.
