Honggang Yu, Ph.D, Professor, chief physician, doctoral tutor. Mainly engaged in diagnosing and treating digestive system diseases, and early cancer diagnosis and treatment of digestive endoscopy with artificial intelligence. He is the Chief of the Gastroenterology Department, Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, and a Standing Committee Member of the Chinese Society of Digestive Endoscopy.
He has won a Technological Invention Award of Hubei Province and has successively presided over six general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, youth project, new century talent project of the Ministry of education, returned overseas students fund of the Ministry of education, returned overseas students fund of the Ministry of personnel, outstanding youth fund of Hubei Province. He has published over 140 papers in professional journals, including articles in Lancet Gastroenterol Hepatol, Lancet Digit Health, GUT, Endoscopy, etc..
